Roy Provan

Roy joined Young & Partners in September 2010 with over 11 years of experience behind him as a commercial property lawyer.  During his career, Roy has advised clients across the business spectrum: from large Corporates through to SME’s and micro businesses.  His expertise in the commercial property sphere ranges from commercial leasing, investment acquisitions and sales to new developments and site assembly.  Roy is experienced in security work, able to advise from both the lender and the borrower’s perspectives.  He also has a keen interest in cross border portfolio acquisitions and sales.  Roy ensures he is constantly up to date with changes to legislation and case law, particularly useful given the recent decision on leases and administrators.  This means he is well placed to get involved in the property aspects of any insolvency situation.  Clients not only welcome Roy’s breadth and depth of knowledge but also his commercial approach to the property aspects of their business.
