Derek Hamill

Derek recently joined Young & Partners as a partner.  Derek Hamill qualified as a solicitor in 2000, having previously worked in the legal department of a multi-national.  Derek is a dual qualified solicitor, being registered with both the English and Scottish legal authorities.  He also has an LLM (Legal Masters) with distinction in IT and telecommunications law.  These qualifications are used in general corporate work to ensure that IT, IP and competition issues are properly addressed in UK wide and multi-national transactions.  Derek is an expert in structuring equity investments and share schemes.  Derek is also an accredited professional trainer, and carries out training programmes on behalf of a wide range of clients.
