Alan D Stalker  WS

Alan joined Young & Partners in April 2010. Previously a partner in an Edinburgh law firm, and latterly general counsel for a major Scottish travel company, he is a “dual qualified” solicitor, able to offer advice on both English and Scottish legal issues.

With over 10 years of experience as a business adviser, Alan brings commercial and pragmatic approach to client’s business issues. He specialises in advising clients on "tricky” commercial contracts:  from a straight-forward distribution agreement or a franchise document to complex international supply chain contracts or tendering to public authorities. 

Alan is also an experienced employment lawyer, advising all aspects of industry and business from employers to sub contractors, external consultants to employees.  Alan’s clients welcome his practical advice on their employment contracts, compromise agreements and general employment issues.
